EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) means that the company is entrusted by the owner to carry out the whole process or several stages of contracting for the design, procurement, construction and trial operation of the project construction project in accordance with the contract. Usually the company is responsible for the quality, safety, cost and schedule of the contracted project under the conditions of the total price contract.

Compared with the general contracting mode of construction, EPC project general contracting can better reduce project cost, shorten construction period and ensure project quality. For the owner, the contractual relationship is simpler than the traditional model, the organization and coordination workload is small, and the responsibility is clear, and the owner bears the low risk.
